Tree #3 & #4 Service above can be repeated every 2-3 weeks if insect problems are persistent

Tree # 5. Deep Root feeding applied in the fall as tress begin to draw down and go dormant; this treatment acts as a fertilizer and soil builder both for the tree allowing it to overwinter well and make it strong during spring green up

Program designed to promote tree health services and #1, #2, and #5, are our recommended minimum applications.

Fruit Tree Program

4-9 Applications

Fruit Tree #1. Dormant Oil application early spring after evening temps remain at or above 50 degrees; this treatment helps keep mite and scale from taking hold on your trees

Fruit Tree #2. Living Earth applies a fungicide when flower buds are visible but still in tight clusters, this helps with several fruit scaring and blemish causing pests.

Fruit Tree #3. A second fungicide application should be made just before the buds open. This is usually 10-14 days after the first application.

Fruit Tree #4. After 90% of the petals have fallen off the tree, a combination spray should be applied to control both diseases and insects. We are carful to spray after the majority of bees are done pollinating to avoid taking out beneficial insects

Fruit Tree #5. One week later a “cover spray”, should be made. This is a key application for many reoccurring pests and we are sure to cover both surfaces of the leaves as well as leaves in the center of the canopy.

Fruit Tree #6. We can continue to apply cover sprays every ten to fourteen days through the summer. We recommend that no chemicals are applied within two weeks of your expected harvest.

This program is designed to promote tree health as well as optimize fruit production. The total number of events needed depends entirely on the year, and the clients desired results. We will come inspect your trees to give you a recommended minimum.
